It is built durably waterproof and highly breathable, this fabric is a microporous membrane structure, which means no external moisture (rain, snow, sleet, or puddles) can penetrate the fabric, but internal moisture from perspiration can easily evaporate.400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation to help keep feet warm. Contoured removable polyurethane cushion insole provides direct underfoot cushioning. The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming out features. Its Vibram rubber outsole is made with a high quality rugged compound and has a well defined heel to aid in logger applications as well as various rung climbing related uses. In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact and Compression standards, Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions.
