Style Description - Flip and twist in style with the etnies RVM (Rapid Vulc Mid) skate shoes. Features a leather and textile upper with protective hidden lace loops and a triple-stitched toe cap. A padded tongue and collar offer extra support. Soft lining and an STI Foam Level 1 cushioning footbed with System G2 heel provides comfort and shock absorption. An internal EVA midsole gives ample support. 400 NBS rubber outsole ensures great traction and control. Vulcanized construction delivers durability.

Etnies was founded in 1986 by Pierre Andre Senizergues, a champion international freestyle skateboarder who had moved to California in 1985 from his native France. In collaboration with the French company Rautureau Apple, Etnies—its name a play on “ethnics,” referring to the tribal subculture of skateboarders—began to create and market outstanding-quality high-tops specifically designed for skaters and surfers. That commitment continues to this day, with top competitors from around the world lending their names and reputations, and trusting their feet, to the Etnies brand.
