About Franco Sarto

Every pair of Franco Sarto boots, loafers, sandals, heels, pumps, platforms, wedges, and mules displays a devotion to quality and an attention to detail. Such features can only come from a man driven by his passion to spend his life in pursuit of the highest levels of craftsmanship and style. Born in 1949 outside of Venice, Italy, he apprenticed at a cobbler's bench at the age of 14. Decades later, and now at the peak of his success, Franco Sarto still sketches many of the original designs for the shoes on which his brand name appears.
