Style Description - Break all the rules of running with the Saucony Progrid Outlaw trail runners. These shoes feature a lightweight synthetic and air mesh upper with a raised upper for improved ankle support. The gusseted tongue protects from debris. The water-resistant Sauc-Dry membrane maintains a fresh, dry interior. The ProGrid midsole and the HRC Strobel Board provide responsive cushioning and comfort. The External Bedrock Outsole with XT-900 rubber protects against sharp rocks and stone bruises.

Based in the United States, Saucony had its start back in 1910 in the Cambridge, Massachusetts, shop of a Russian immigrant shoemaker. The brand name comes from the Saucon River, site of one of the company's original factories, from an Indian word meaning "swiftly flowing waters," a most appropriate image for the fluid motion that Saucony shoes enable.
