Style Description - The Saucony Progrid Echelon running shoe delivers a unique, supportive and ultra-durable ride. Designed for neutral runners, these shoes feature a breathable mesh upper with supportive synthetic overlays and Hydrator collar lining. A removable Comfortride sockliner is antimicrobial for odor-free cushioning. ProGrid with Respon-Tek technology dissipates and minimizes shock. The XT-900 carbon rubber outsole maximizes cushioning, traction, and durability.

Beautifully styled, all shoes feature the most advanced athletic footwear technology, including such features as the ProGrid cushioning system, a Flexion Plate that helps propel the foot forward quickly and efficiently, and the Comfortemp climate control system that keeps the shoe drier while cooling the foot and helping to prevent blisters.

Based in the United States, Saucony had its start back in 1910 in the Cambridge, Massachusetts, shop of a Russian immigrant shoemaker. The brand name comes from the Saucon River, site of one of the company's original factories, from an Indian word meaning "swiftly flowing waters," a most appropriate image for the fluid motion that Saucony shoes enable.
